Code of Conduct for Online Examination
All students are requested to adhere the standards indicated below with respect to the online examination being conducted
Taking Exams Online
In line with the code of ethics and the general University guidelines as well as the educational commitments made upon registration, when taking an online examination:
Students are required to:
- Be equipped with a stable internet connection available
- All students are instructed to take the examination seriously, without any external assistance, and being loyal and honest to the University
- Make sure that no external person access the room you are sitting to take up the examination
- Upon request a student should allow the coordinator/mentor to monitor their surroundings before or during the exam, using the devices available (computer, tablet or smartphone)
It is forbidden
- To act in the name of another student or have another person act in your name and take up the examination
- To allow anyone to offer assistance during an exam
- To use any device or other form of assistance during an exam, other than devices explicitly authorized by the coordinator/mentor
- To do screen sharing enabling
- To access course materials or external content, during the exam
- Copying/downloding/storing questions/answers and sharing them with others during/after the exam
- Pretending interruptions internet connectivity or power failuers
Disciplinary Actions against Academic Dishonesty
University may take disciplinary actions against students who violate the rules. Disciplinary sanctions will be noted and may be considered in subsequent evaluations and rankings.
For any behaviors not specifically mentioned in this Code of Conduct, students are required to act respectfully towards the University and to others.
